Glacier Flea March

The unrivaled Glacier Flea Hike from Obergurgl (1,930 m) to Vent (1,900 m) is a sporty traditional alpine hike that is contested together with many like-minded mountain lovers. Leading right through the high alpine glacier world of upper Ötztal, all participants climb the 3,200 Meter high Ramoljoch saddle before descending again towards Vent. Cross summit ridges, hike through green landscapes and rocky terrain and become a “glacier flea” too!
Registration opens in March.

Checkpoints
- Start: Gurgl (1,930 m) until 7:30
- Küppelealm (2,303 m) 3 km, until 9:00
- Ramolhaus (3,006 m) 7 km - refreshments until 11:30
- Ramoljoch (3,200 m) 9 km, until 12:30
- Langeben (2,583 m) 12 km, until 14:30
- Finish: Vent (1,900 m) 15 km, until 16:00
In order to receive the medal, it is absolutely necessary to pass the checkpoints and have the passage scanned.
The route is monitored by radio. First aid and safety stations are located along the entire route. Alpine emergency number 140.
