TUMPEN -> Elementary School Parking Lot -> "Grube" -> Junction -> VORDERE TUMPENALM
The Vordere Tumpenalm is located at an altitude of 1,831 meters, surrounded by lush green meadows and in the midst of the Ötztal mountain world. From the parking lot of the elementary school in Tumpen, follow the street towards "Grube" - then turn left onto a forest road going up past the Tumpen waterfall. At the last junction, turn left towards "Vordere Tumpenalm" and "Gehsteigalm." Follow the forest road to the alpine pasture. If you go right at the junction, you will reach the Armelen hut. For the return journey, take the same route or as an alternative, you can hike further to the Armelen hut and possibly undertake a summit tour to the "Erster Karkopf."

Directions
From the parking lot of the elementary school in Tumpen, follow the street towards "Grube" - then turn left onto a forest road going up past the Tumpen waterfall. At the last junction, turn left towards "Vordere Tumpenalm" and "Gehsteigalm." Follow the forest road to the alpine pasture. If you go right at the junction, you will reach the Armelen hut.

Travel comfortably and securely by train to the Ötztal train station. The final stop or exit point is the ÖTZTAL station. The car journey to the ÖTZTAL. Located in Tyrol, the Ötztal branches south as the longest side valley of the Eastern Alps. Traveling by car takes visitors through the Inn Valley to the valley entrance and further along the Ötztal. In addition to the toll motorway, country roads can also be used.
