NIEDERTHAI SENNHOF PARKING LOT -> Höfle -> BICHL

The start is in Niederthai at the Sennhof parking lot (next to the information center). From there, you go directly over the wooden bridge and turn left at the fire station towards the district Höfle. At Höfle, the street continues uphill to the district Bichl on the right. During the ascent to Bichl, you pass a viewpoint where you can enjoy a wonderful view. Those who like can continue the small route up to "Platte." There, a panoramic view awaits downhill towards Umhausen and the front part of the Ötztal as well as the surrounding Ötztal mountains. The walking path is also very suitable for families and with strollers/buggies.

 

Author's tip
Since the path is mostly flat, it is also suitable for wheelchair user and children's push chair. (forest track & gravel path)

The start is in Niederthai at the Sennhof parking lot (next to the information center). Public transit

Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal train station. The final stop or exit point is the ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, you travel conveniently and quickly through the entire valley to your desired destination by public transport or local taxi companies! Getting there

The car journey into the ÖTZTAL. Located in Tyrol, the Ötztal branches southwards as the longest side valley of the Eastern Alps. Traveling by car takes visitors over the Inn valley to the valley entrance and continues along the Ötztal. In addition to the toll motorway, country roads can also be used. Your journey can be quickly and conveniently planned with the route planner.
