From the parking lot at the Volksschule in Tumpen, head towards the church and walk through the village until you reach a wide forest road. Follow this road to a signposted left turn to "Talblick Umhausen." On the return, follow the same path with the option to descend into the Tumpen commercial area and back to the starting point.

Public transport
Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal station. The final stop or exit point is ÖTZTAL station. From there, you can conveniently and quickly travel with public transportation or local taxi companies throughout the valley to your desired destination.

Directions
Driving into the ÖTZTAL. Located in Tyrol, the Ötztal branches southwards as the longest side valley of the Eastern Alps. Traveling by car leads visitors through the Inn Valley to the valley entrance and further along the Ötztal. Besides the toll highway, country roads can also be used.
