Directions
The trail runs along the Horlach stream (over the meadows), then slightly downhill to the Stuibenfall inn and back to the starting point. From the Matauloipe, there is the possibility to reach the Sonnenplateau trail through snowy hills via the feeder trail Matau.

Public transit
Travel comfortably and securely by train to the Ötztal station. The final stop or exit point is the ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, you can travel comfortably and quickly by public transport or local taxi companies through the entire valley to your desired destination! Getting there
Driving into the ÖTZTAL. Located in Tyrol, the ÖTZTAL branches south as the longest side valley of the Eastern Alps. Driving travelers reach the valley entrance via the Inn Valley and continue along the Ötztal. Besides the toll motorway, country roads can also be used. Your trip can be quickly and easily planned with the route planner.

The parking lot is subject to fees from 7:00 am to 6:30 pm and is operated year-round.
