LÄNGENFELD -> Road to Gries -> Kochler junction -> Tröglan -> KOCHLER
By car, you drive about 2.5 km along the Grieser Landstraße. You can park in a small parking bay. At the beginning, you follow a short section of the forest road, which you soon leave to the right and follow a path. At an altitude of about 1600m, you meet the wide forest road again, which you now follow for several hairpin bends. The path is well marked from the start, so the junction towards Kochler - Hörndle cannot be missed. Now it goes quite steeply up through a wonderful mixed forest. Above the tree line, you reach the destination of this hike, the Kochler. A small meadow plateau with a magnificent view into the Sulztal, which invites you to rest.
Author’s recommendation
Experienced hikers with mountain experience can still take on the ascent to the Hörndle. (Exposed sections, ridge)
