Map & elevation profile

AQUA DOME -> Fischbach Bridge -> Gorge -> Chapel of St. John of Nepomuk -> Fire Station -> AQUA DOME

This small but fine round route is suitable for getting to know the town a bit. The starting point is behind the Aqua Dome at the small bridge. Here the Fischbach flows into the Ötztaler Ache. Follow the river side (near Aqua Dome) up to the main road which you cross. This path was dedicated to the painter Albin Egger Lienz, who spent many summer months in Längenfeld. On the opposite side, continue straight along the path to the wooden bridge. Here you change riverbanks to another bridge. Keep left now. Shortly after, a small chapel comes into view. It was renovated a few years ago and is dedicated to St. John of Nepomuk. Follow the road for a short distance to the next left turn. From here you return to the bridge crossed earlier. The return route follows the river side you are now on back to the starting point.

Author's tip
