Starting at Piburg, follow the forest road towards Haderlehn. The idyllic forest road runs in the shade, which is why this tour is really popular to ride in high summer. In Haderlehn you can reach a less travelled asphalt road on a short section before turning into the forest and thus onto a forest road, or to put it another way, onto a sled run! This road ends directly above Sautens. You can reach the connection to the Ötztal Trail (11) near the Ötztaler Ache. Follow this cycling route on the left side of the stream into the valley as far as Oetz towards Nature Resort Feel Free. There you ride a short section towards Piburg until you turn left at the sports field and then follow the forest road almost as far as Habichen. At any rate, a short detour to the inn Gasthaus Seehäusl is worthwhile before you tackle the last 3 kilometres. The tour is ridden in a clockwise direction.
