At an altitude of 1,748 meters, the Almhof Mareil is situated in a quiet south-facing location between Ochsengarten and Kühtai. Surrounded by the impressive mountain landscape of the Ötztal Alps, the Almhof offers a special place where nature and tranquility help forget everyday life. The breathtaking mountain view and the fascinating landscape lie directly at the doorstep.

Walking and hiking trails start immediately at the house. The hiking and skiing areas Kühtai and Hochötz are also nearby, making the Almhof Mareil an ideal starting point for hikes, mountain sports, and a variety of activities – in summer as well as winter.

The traditional farm with its own cheese dairy and guest business combines warm Tyrolean hospitality with lived agriculture. Butter, Graukäse, and Mareiler Almkäse are produced directly on the farm. Breakfast and dinner can be conveniently booked on site. In summer, traditional bread-baking days provide a special vacation experience.
