The Tour
The starting point is the parking lot of the Ochsengarten gondola lift. Walk into the village and cross the bridge towards Balbacherhof. Continue along the stream through the enchanting winter landscape in the direction of Kühtai. Shortly before the "Stopferbrücke", cross the Nederbach and on the sunny side cross the country road back to Ochsengarten.
The Ötztal Nature Park offers guided evening snowshoe hikes along this route. More information can be found at www.naturpark-oetztal.at

Directions

Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal station. The final stop or exit point is the ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, travel conveniently and quickly with public buses or local taxi companies through the entire valley to your desired destination! Equipment
Appropriate equipment such as breathable and weather-adapted outdoor clothing, wind, rain, snow and sun protection, hat and gloves, is required for all hikes and routes. Carrying a first aid kit, a mobile phone, and possibly a tour map, as well as sufficient provisions for tours without the possibility of refreshments, is necessary.
