At the panorama restaurant, keep left and cross the assembly area. The winter hiking trail runs parallel to ski slope no. 6 (ski track), gently sloping down to Kühtaile Alm. The hiking trail crosses the busy ski slope twice; special caution is required here!
Note: Only suitable for experienced winter hikers and accessible with appropriate sturdy footwear. Tip: Use poles as walking aids!

Public transport
Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal train station. The final stop and exit point is ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, you travel conveniently and quickly by public transport or local taxi services through the entire valley to your desired destination. Driving into ÖTZTAL. Located in Tyrol, the ÖTZTAL branches off to the south as the longest side valley of the Eastern Alps. Traveling by car leads visitors through the Inn valley to the valley entrance and continues along the Ötztal. In addition to the toll motorway, country roads can also be used. - Acherkogelbahn parking lot (fee required)
- Rafting entry parking (at the end of Oetz on the right side) (fee required)

- Overnight parking during multi-day tours: Oetz central parking lot, tickets are available at the Oetz information office.
- When taking the Ochsengarten gondola lift, free parking is available in Ochsengarten – camping prohibited

Appropriate equipment such as breathable and weather-appropriate outdoor clothing, wind, rain, snow, and sun protection, hat and gloves, is necessary for all hikes and routes.
