Description

VENT -> Breslauer Hut -> Hochjoch Hospiz -> Saykogel -> Martin Busch Hut -> Kreuzspitze -> VENT

Map & elevation profile

VENT -> Breslauer Hut -> Hochjoch Hospiz -> Saykogel -> Martin Busch Hut -> Kreuzspitze -> VENT

From Vent either via the steep path below the chairlift to Stableinalm (or also by the double chairlift). From Stableinalm first moderately on a wide path, later steeply ascending on a narrow mountain path to Breslauer Hut. Via the Seufertweg without significant ascent into the Vernagt Valley. From there uphill to the Vernagt hut. On an easy path to Hochjoch Hospiz. Overnight stay. From there descent to the iron bridge over the Hintereisbach and in steep switchbacks to the junction to the Martin Busch Hut. Over very rocky terrain, first easy then steep ascending to the summit (two small climbing passages in between, no fixed rope protection - freedom from dizziness and surefootedness required). Descent over scree to the Martin Busch Hut. Overnight stay. From the Martin Busch Hut steeply uphill, past the remains of the Brizzi hut and past Brizzi lake to Kreuzspitze. Descent to the Martin Busch Hut and further to Vent.
