Starting from the parking lot at the primary school, you walk through the village, past the parish church until you reach a wide forest path. Follow this path to the signposted left turn to the Umhausen valley viewpoint. On the return, you walk the same way with the option to descend into the Tumpen industrial area and back to the starting point.

Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal train station. The final stop or exit point is ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, you can travel conveniently and quickly by public transport or local taxi companies through the entire valley to your desired destination! Getting there
Driving to ÖTZTAL. Located in Tyrol, the Ötztal branches off to the south as the longest side valley of the Eastern Alps. Traveling by car takes visitors via the Inn valley to the valley entrance and further along the Ötztal. In addition to the toll motorway, country roads can also be used.
