How do you find your treasure?

Along the marked route, there are small caches (treasure boxes). In each cache, you find secret letters. Enter all the letters on your treasure map. Only those who have collected all the letters can form the solution word. With this solution word, you can pick up a gift at the Vent information point! (For children up to 16 years).

Safety guidelines

Good hiking shoes, surefootedness. Hold small children’s hands at a few spots.

The mountaineering village Vent is located at 1,895 meters, where you start your hike directly at the Vent information point. You walk through the village towards the cable car, cross the bridge, and enter the path towards Ramolalm. Right at the beginning, you’ll see a bench, and maybe you find the first cache here?

Now continue towards Ramolalm (2,215 meters), which is no longer managed. First, you go a bit steeper uphill. A narrow hiking trail leads you through the forest. Don’t pass cache 2, which is hidden a little to the right in the woods. Soon you will reach a clearing, and from there it is no longer so steep. During the hike, you can admire the surrounding mountains: Similaun (3,599 meters), Talleitspitze (3,406 meters), and also the Ötztaler Wildspitze (3,768 meters). Here and there is a bench so you can enjoy the view or take a photo stop.

Once you have arrived at the clearing, the trail goes slightly uphill again, and soon you can find cache 3 and 4. The higher you hike, the fewer trees grow here, but cache 5 has found a special hiding place. From here, you find only scattered trees and may encounter a few goats or other animals. The narrow hiking trail leads you over roots and rocks, and you will also reach caches 6 and 7. A little further, there is another short climb until you finally reach Ramolalm on a flat meadow. Here you are above Vent and enjoy the view of the mountains and the valley.
