The Tour
A hike above Vent down the valley towards Feldkögele, then back down into the valley to hike directly into the village on the other side of the stream.
A cozy path starts in the middle of the village, initially moderately steep and then gently descending through the enchanting larch and stone pine forest to Feldkögele (2018m). Along the way, you cross numerous mountain streams, including the spirited Weißen Bach. You might be lucky to spot a nutcracker, squirrel, or even deer. Arriving at the idyllic Feldkögele, you enjoy the silence, admire the small pond, and get the coveted stamp for the hiking pass at the stamping point. On the descent to Venter Landstraße, a dreamlike view opens up over the picturesque village of Vent, the majestic Talleitspitze, and the legendary Similaun.
How do you find your treasure? Along the marked route, there are small caches (treasure boxes). In each cache you find secret letters. Enter all the letters in your treasure map. Only those who have collected all letters can form the solution word from them. With this solution word, you can pick up a gift at the Vent information center! (For children up to 16 years).

Directions
You start directly at the bus stop, at the parking lot, or the information center in Vent. From there, you walk a short steep piece up a narrow path. Once at the top, you walk on a wide field down the valley. At a fountain and a wall, you find the first cache. From here, follow the wide field (in winter this is a valley descent) further upward. At a junction (see signs), turn right onto a narrower hiking path and hike towards Feldkögele. Just after the turn onto this path, there is a fence – here you must look for the second cache. After finding it, continue along the hiking path, past stones, trees, and flowers. The path goes slightly uphill at times. Shortly before the path goes sharply upward, you see a large stone – you must find your way to it to find cache 3. Then continue a little further uphill, then walk straight ahead. There is a bridge that leads over a stream, and then you reach a section where almost no trees stand anymore. This area was busy with avalanches in winter. Here you also have a beautiful view of the valley. Soon you return to the forest entrance. You might encounter a deer or a squirrel here. Walk a short piece into the forest and you can already look for cache 4. Shortly after, you see a junction towards the valley. But it is recommended to continue hiking to the bonus at Feldkögele. It takes about 5-10 minutes and you are there. Here you enjoy a wonderful view of Vent and the Vent mountain world. The pond at Feldkögele is simply lovely.
After finding the bonus cache, you walk back along the forest path to the junction and then follow the forest downhill to a gate where you must search again.
After the gate, you walk through the meadows to the main road. You have to cross it and then walk a stretch of the main road down the valley until you reach a wooden bridge that leads over the Venter Ache to the other side of the stream. Once there, continue on the wide driveway to a tree that almost stands in the stream – here a cache awaits you. Please stay dry and don't go too far into the water.
Then you must walk a short way back to the path to hike again towards Vent. Stay on the wide field path and hike towards Vent. It goes slightly uphill and soon you reach two trees, "the entrance towards Vent." Don't forget to look for the next cache here.
Through the "gate" you see a small lake further below on the right side. The fields here are fenced, and you might encounter livestock.
Continue hiking on the wide field path towards Vent. It goes up and down repeatedly. Soon you reach the last cache of this round. After finding it, you have to hike further; on the other side you see Vent. The path ends just before you reach the large bridge. From here, you could now continue the second treasure hunt or head to the information center in Vent to pick up your treasure. For this, walk over the bridge down the valley again.
