From Sattele, hike along the Kaiser Franz Josef route to Marlstein. From there, go uphill to the Grünwaslkreuz, and then back via the Feldringalm to Sattele.
Experience a breathtaking hike from the Sattele parking lot along the Kaiser Franz Josef route towards Marlstein. From there, the path leads uphill to the Grünwaslkreuz, located below the Faltegartenköpfl. Across lush alpine pastures with small lakes and moors, continue over the Feldringer grounds through the pine forest to the Feldringalm before returning to the starting point Sattele. This route offers unparalleled views of the majestic Tyrolean mountains and leads through picturesque landscapes and fragrant forests. Enjoy the silence of nature and encounters with cows and horses along the way.
Along the marked route, there are small caches (treasure boxes). In each cache, you will find secret letters. Enter all letters into your treasure map. Only those who have collected all the letters can form the solution word. With this solution word, you can claim a gift at the information centers in Ochsengarten, Oetz, or at the Ötztal Infopoint!

The hike leads you from Sattele over a initially narrow path, which then widens toward Marlstein. On this route, you can already find 4 treasures. The leisurely path takes you past the breadbox, where you must throw a stone up – if it stays there, you will always have enough to eat. On the other side, you will find the cache. The exciting discovery journey continues after you have enjoyed the stunning view at the bench to a somewhat different tree. On this tree grow very special "fruits." Upon arriving in Marlstein, you can find the cache near the goats and sheep. Please close the gate afterwards. Perhaps you have time to stop by the guesthouse or linger at the playground. The hike continues. You now have to take the path towards Faltegartenköpfl. The steeper forest trail leads you through the woods, which soon thins out, and then you continue over meadows covered with various berries and juniper bushes. Once you reach the Grünwaslkreuz, you must stroll further across the wide meadows to the Feldringalm. Don't forget to search for the cache at the Grünwaslkreuz. The Feldringer grounds offer you a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains, the Inn Valley, the Mieming range, and much more. The high plateau with its many small moors and lakes serves as a thirst quencher for alpine newts and dragonflies or the cows. After crossing the Feldringer grounds, continue through the pine-larch forest to the Feldringalm. Perhaps take a short break here or enjoy the view one last time before heading back to Sattele. Here you can either take the wide riding path or shorten the way via small hiking trails.
