The Tour

The start of the route is at the parking lot between the hamlets Winklen and Unterried. The forest road (toboggan run) leads upwards in countless switchbacks. At the beginning, you still have the chance to catch a view of Längenfeld. Later, the route passes through dense coniferous forest. If you're lucky, a squirrel will cross your path. After nearly 4 kilometers, you reach Wurzbergalm. There you can refresh yourself in the warm parlor with delicious homemade specialties. The sled ride back down the valley is fast and exciting.

Hike with snowshoes from Köfels to Wurzbergalm. The ride with the sled then leads to Längenfeld
(Taxi or 2 cars required, as start and destination are not at the same place)

Between Winklen and Unterried (parking lot by the barrier) a 90-minute ascent steadily leads through a beautiful forest up to Wurzbergalm. This path is also the toboggan run. Once at the top, you can refresh yourself in the cozy hut and warm up by the stove.

Travel comfortably and safely by train. The final stop or exit point is ÖTZTAL train station. Afterwards, you travel conveniently and quickly with public bus services or local taxi companies through the entire valley to your desired destination.
