GRIES -> Vögelasbrücke -> Nisslam junction -> NISSLALM

Map & elevation profile

GRIES -> Vögelasbrücke -> Nisslam junction -> NISSLALM

The ascent to Nisslalm, located at 2,051m, starts at the end of Gries. At first, the path is quite flat. After crossing the Vögelasbrücke, the slope noticeably increases. Shortly afterward, the path branches off to the right. The switchbacks now wind upwards at a moderate incline. The entire route is lined with stone pine trees, and the Schrankogel (3,497m) in the rear Sulztal catches the eye. The hut sits on a plateau and offers a great view of the Sulztal.
After a refreshment, the return to Gries is fast.
