The Tour
NORDIC SPORTS ARENA->Tauferbergrundgang->Mauslasattel->NORDIC SPORTS ARENA
The start is at the Nordic Sports Arena car park in Niederthai. From there, you walk along the winter hiking trail towards Tellerboden. After about 50 meters, turn left onto the signposted forest road "Tauferbergrundgang" and follow the forest road until you reach another crossroads. Keep right and continue on the forest road until it leads into a narrow hiking trail. Now the snowshoe tour begins. It continues through the Tauferberg Forest towards Mauslasattel. From there, the wide forest road leads back down to the football field and the starting point of the snowshoe tour.

Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal train station. The final stop or exit point is the ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, you travel conveniently and quickly by public transport or local taxi companies through the entire valley to your desired destination! Getting there
Driving into the ÖTZTAL. Located in Tyrol, the ÖTZTAL branches off to the south as the longest side valley of the Eastern Alps. Travel by car takes holidaymakers through the Inn Valley to the valley entrance and then along the Ötztal. Besides the toll motorway, country roads can also be used. Your journey can be quickly and conveniently planned with the route planner.

Parking
The car park is subject to a charge from 07:00 to 22:00 and is open in summer and winter.

- The car park for people with handicap is free. Please deposit your handicap ID apparent in your car.

Appropriate equipment such as breathable and weather-appropriate outdoor clothing, wind, rain, snow and sun protection, a hat and gloves is required for all hikes and routes. Carrying a first aid kit, a mobile phone and possibly a route map, as well as sufficient provisions for tours without dining options, is necessary.
