PANORAMA RESTAURANT HOCHOETZ -> Bielefelder Hut -> ROSSKOPF
Ascent with the Acherkogel cable car or the Ochsengarten gondola. From the top station, hike on the wide forest road to the Bielefelder Hut (2,150 m). You pass the hut and continue on a well-maintained but steep hiking trail towards Mohrenkopf. Below the summit, you reach the junction "Old Bielefelder Hut." The path then rises only slightly, and on the left a steep path branches off up to Rosskopf (2,399 m).
Author's tip
If you have enough energy left on the way back, you can hike to the Old Bielefelder Hut and return via the Acherberg Alm.

Directions

Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal train station. The final stop or exit point is the ÖTZTAL train station. Then you can conveniently and quickly continue with public transport or local taxi companies through the entire valley to your desired destination! Getting there
Driving to the ÖTZTAL. Located in Tyrol, the ÖTZTAL branches southward as the longest side valley of the Eastern Alps. Traveling by car takes visitors through the Inn Valley to the valley entrance and continues along the Ötztal. Besides the toll motorway, country roads can also be used. - Overnight parking during multi-day tours: Oetz center parking lot, the ticket is available at the Oetz information office.
- When taking the Ochsengarten gondola, free parking is available in Ochsengarten - camping is prohibited
