Map & elevation profile

GRIES - Vögelasbrücke - junction Nisslalm -> continue straight into Sulztal -> Sulztalalm -> return by sled - GRIES

The Sulztalalm is located almost at the end of the Sulztal, in the middle of the Stubai Alps.
The starting point is at the parking lot at the end of Gries. From there, the path, which is also the sledding track, leads almost flat to the Vögelasbrücke. After crossing it, the incline increases slightly. Shortly afterwards, the path branches right to Nisslalm. However, you continue to follow the increasingly narrow valley to Sulztalalm. After about 1.5 hours of walking, you reach the cozy hut. After a refreshment in the warm parlor, you can comfortably return by sled to Gries.
Sled rental is available for a fee at the hut.

Author's tip
