The Tour
From the Issbrücke shortly after Mareil, it goes up steeply on the hiking trail to the Upper Issalm (not operated) and from there continuing with a slight ascent to the Knappenhaus with stamp mill. The Knappenhaus is partially accessible as a small museum and provides interesting insights into the life and work of the miners from 350 years ago. Below the path lies the Pochersee.
Return is via the same path.
A rest and snack by the lake is a must for all connoisseurs! Please take your trash home with you!

Public transit
Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal train station. The final stop or exit point is the ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, travel conveniently and quickly with public transport or local taxi companies through the entire valley to your desired destination!
