Panorama Trail Treasure Hunt Sölden

Start at the Zentrum Shuttle in Sölden. After getting off, turn right and walk a short distance down the street, then walk under the Zentrum Shuttle along Unterwaldstraße. At the end of the street – here you can already find the first cache – a hiking trail leads to Innerwaldstraße. It only takes a moment to cross the street. Then continue your hike behind the solitary house, following the path to "Stiegele." The field path leads you up in switchbacks and you will soon find the second cache by a tree. On the left, you see the Gaislachkoglbahn, on the right the hamlets Innerwald, Außerwald and many meadows. Almost at "Stiegele," you find the entrance to the Panorama Trail. First, the path leads a short distance along a narrow hiking trail before reaching a service road. Along this path, you walk almost flat towards the meadows. A sign tells you it now goes slightly uphill; you continue following the hiking trail and leave the service road. Cache 3 follows on the way up.  You continue hiking through the forest. The wide hiking trail initially takes you through dense forest and as it clears, you can enjoy the panorama above Sölden. Along the Panorama Trail, which ascends gently, you hike above Sölden and, as the name suggests, enjoy the panorama repeatedly. You can enjoy the view on one of the benches. 

Don't forget to keep looking out for the caches. Cache 4 is at a slightly level spot along the trail. At Cache 5, when looking towards Timmelsjoch/Gurgl, you have a magnificent view. 

After Cache 5, the trail leads you over a pasture used as a ski slope in winter. Here is a fence to keep the grazing animals out. A bench serves as a clue where Cache 6 is hidden. After the pasture, the trail goes steadily downhill; there are more fences and a bridge over the Rettenbach. You could turn off earlier, but then you would miss Cache 7, which comes just after the bridge. Without it, you cannot open the treasure. So cross the bridge back into the forest. The wide forest trail then leads you further towards the hamlet of See.

Above the hamlet of See, you may turn right. The path leads downhill to the lake, from where you return to the shuttle and, of course, can also pick up Cache 8 at the Unterwaldstraße junction.

At the hamlet of See, you come to the paved road. Keep right and cross the Rettenbach a second time. After the bridge, turn left, pass the small wooden hut, walk a short distance down the street and then turn right again at the H sign into Unterwaldstraße. At the junction, you find the eighth cache. After finding it, you can either walk back to the Zentrum Shuttle or take the hiking trail back to the valley.
