PANORAMA RESTAURANT HOCHOETZ -> Bielefelder Hut -> Old Bielefelder Hut -> Acherberg Alm -> PANORAMA RESTAURANT HOCHOETZ
Ascent with the Acherkogelbahn or the Ochsengarten gondola. From the mountain station, hike along the forest road uphill to the Bielefelder Hut. Above the hut follows a steep climb to the junction toward the Old Bielefelder Hut. At this junction, the steepest part has been overcome. Gently ascending, follow a beautiful and scenic hiking trail to the old Bielefelder Hut. The hut is ruined, but the panoramic terrace can still be accessed. Below the hut, the path then gently descends over the alpine meadows to the Acherberg Alm. From the hut, the forest road gently ascends back to the panorama restaurant and the mountain station.
