The very demanding ascent over the steep mountain slopes will soon be rewarded. The Soomsee lies embedded in a dreamlike mountain world; from there, it continues to the Itlsee. Staying and relaxing at the lake gives new strength to master the last ascent to the pass. Upon reaching the pass (2,932 m), the hiker is rewarded with a breathtaking view. The descent follows the same path.
