The new Grantau-Wichtel children's toboggan run guarantees sledding fun for young and old.

Directly next to the iced natural toboggan run Grantau is the new Grantau-Wichtel children's toboggan run, opened this winter season. The run is approx. 190 meters long and offers perfect sliding and sledding fun. The children's toboggan run has a separate ascent path, a proper starting area (with a bar), and an uphill section at the end to make stopping easier.

The children's toboggan run is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is free of charge. There is no sled rental on site.

RODELCAFÈ: Open every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm, serving light snacks and hot drinks.

Wearing hiking equipment such as breathable and weather-appropriate outdoor clothing, ankle-high mountain boots, wind, rain, and sun protection, a hat, and possibly gloves is recommended! It is also important to carry sufficient provisions, a first-aid kit, a mobile phone, and possibly a hiking map.

The Grantau-Wichtel children's toboggan run can be reached from the parking lot in about a 5-minute walk. Directly next to the iced natural toboggan run Grantau is the new Grantau-Wichtel children's toboggan run. There is a separate ascent path, a proper starting area (with a bar), and an uphill section at the end to make stopping easier.

Public transit

Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal station. The final stop or exit point is the ÖTZTAL train station. Afterwards, you can conveniently and quickly continue by public transport or local taxi services throughout the entire valley to your desired destination! Getting there

The car trip to ÖTZTAL. Located in Tyrol, the ÖTZTAL branches off southwards as the longest side valley of the Eastern Alps. Travelers arriving by car take the route through the Inn Valley to the valley entrance and further along the Ötztal. In addition to the toll motorway, country roads can also be used. Your trip can be quickly and conveniently planned with the route planner.
