AQUA DOME ->  Fischbach Bridge ->  Gorge -> Chapel of St. John of Nepomuk -> Fire Station -> AQUA DOME

Map & elevation profile

AQUA DOME ->  Fischbach Bridge ->  Gorge -> Chapel of St. John of Nepomuk -> Fire Station -> AQUA DOME

This small but fine route is suitable for getting to know the town a bit. The starting point is behind the Aqua Dome at the small bridge. Here the Fischbach flows into the Ötztaler Ache. Follow the river side (near Aqua Dome) until you reach the main street, which you cross. This path is dedicated to the painter Albin Egger Lienz, who spent many summer months in Längenfeld.  On the opposite side, continue straight on until the wooden bridge. Here you cross the river to another bridge. Now keep left. Soon a small chapel comes into view. This was renovated a few years ago and is dedicated to St. John of Nepomuk. Follow the street for a short distance until the next left turn. Here you get back to the bridge you crossed before. The return path follows the river side where you are now back to the starting point.
