The starting point is the Sattele above Ochsengarten. From there, follow the gently ascending forest road to Feldring Alm. Towards the end, you can shorten the route a bit on a narrower hiking trail. The hut is located at the edge of the Feldringer alpine meadows, a gentle alpine landscape with many small lakes. In summer, mainly sheep and horses graze on the alm.
With some effort, the path is also possible with a stroller.
