Description

An enduro route that explores the outermost limits of the BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN over 13 km and 600 meters of altitude gain.

Map & elevation profile

An enduro route that explores the outermost limits of the BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN over 13 km and 600 meters of altitude gain.

Start at the Freizeit Arena, from where you ride on asphalt along the Ache downstream to Kaisers. There, take a left to the federal road and after a few hundred meters and a short section through the unlit (!!) tunnel, shortly turn left to Granstein. Follow this road until it turns into a gravel path that passes the Leiterbergalm up to an intermediate entry to the Leiterberg Trail. Stopping at Maria's Alm is an absolute must. The view is magnificent and the food excellent.

The descent goes via the technically demanding red natural trail, wonderfully varied through the forest to the district of Leite, from where it continues over the 1.5 km long flowing LETTN LINE to the Giggijoch valley station.

Please watch out for hikers!

Author's tip

A clear must-do: the stop at the Leiterbergalm!!

Safety guidelines

The Leiterberg Trail is a natural trail that offers wonderfully flowing sections but also includes rocky parts, thick roots, and stones. Those who are not yet confident in their riding skills will have to dismount several times. However, it is also well suited for those who want to gradually approach such challenges.

In the BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN, it's all about the shared fun of bike sport – regardless of your riding level. Be considerate of each other and support each other. Also, behave respectfully towards all other people on the mountain and in the valley – and nature.

–> Stay on the paved and signposted paths. Do not ride over open meadows!

–> Avoid locking the rear wheel and help preserve the trails.

–> Be considerate of animals & close the pasture gates. There can always be cows on the trails and lines. Ride carefully and keep your distance!

–> Please note: Hikers are also on the natural trails of the BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN. Ride carefully, stop, evade considerately, and greet nicely.

Also, the trail crosses the forest road several times – roll out carefully here.

Single trail difficulty

Obstacles such as large rocks and roots. Soil is often loose. Steps are expected. Wider hairpin turns, gradient up to 70%. Requires some advanced riding skills.
