From the Dortmunder Hut (1,949 m) up to the Finstertaler Reservoir. Beautiful hike along the lake, then ascending to the Finstertaler Notch (2,780 m) crossing. The route then descends to the Schweinfurter Hut (2,028 m). Afterwards, you can continue hiking to Larstigalm and then through the Horlachtal to Niederthai.
ATTENTION! The path over the Niederreich Notch through the Längental to the Längental reservoir/Dortmunder Hut is closed until further notice due to blasting works!
