A walking route of a special kind is the "Ötztaler Sagenweg". Embark on the discovery-rich journey full of legends that equally delight children and adults and inspire dreaming.
Over almost three kilometers, the discovery-rich journey full of legends stretches, delighting children and adults alike and inspiring dreaming. The approximately 1.5-hour hike begins at the sports field in Huben on the beautifully integrated, family-friendly path in nature. Along the route, sculptures up to 5 m high depict 14 different legends from the Ötztal.

How do the discovery routes work?

Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal station. The final stop or exit point is the ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, travel comfortably and quickly through the entire valley to your desired destination using public transport or local taxi companies!

The car journey into ÖTZTAL. Located in Tyrol, the ÖTZTAL branches off to the south as the longest side valley of the Eastern Alps.
