The start of this circular hike is at the Mure parking lot. From there, you cross the bridge, pass the parish church, then turn right into the street "Hintere Gasse" which you follow towards the district of Neudorf. Passing Hotel Johanna and the Antonius Chapel, it then gently descends at the end and crosses the wooden bridge towards Leierstal/Fundustal. After the wooden bridge, turn right and continue hiking along the forest road to the districts of Leiersbach and Hopfgarten. There, cross the bridge and immediately turn right past the football pitch to follow the path back to the starting point in Umhausen.

Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal train station. The final stop or exit point is the ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, you can conveniently and quickly travel through the entire valley to your desired destination using public transportation or local taxi companies! Driving to ÖTZTAL. Located in Tyrol, the Ötztal branches southward as the longest side valley of the Eastern Alps. Traveling by car, visitors drive through the Inn Valley to the valley entrance and continue along the Ötztal. In addition to the toll motorway, country roads can also be used.
