From Vent to Ochsenkopf, halfway up turn left into Niedertal. On a wide path past the chapel and the shepherd's hut on a moderately ascending path to the Martin Busch hut. From there, a steep ascent towards Kreuzspitze. The lake lies on a high plateau about 300 m to the left of the path. Wonderful panorama.

Public transit

Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal train station. The final stop or exit point is the ÖTZTAL train station. Afterwards, you can conveniently and quickly travel through the entire valley to your desired destination using public transport or local taxi companies! Getting there

The car ride into the ÖTZTAL. Located in Tyrol, the ÖTZTAL branches off to the south as the longest side valley of the Eastern Alps. Travelers arrive by car via the Inn valley to the valley entrance and further along the Ötztal. Besides the toll motorway, country roads can also be used. Parking

The mountain climbing village Vent offers you the following parking options.

- In summer in front of the village (parking meter, coins or EC card only) and at the valley station of the chairlift (at the mountain railway ticket office)

- In winter, only at the valley station of the chairlift.
