Our house in the quiet little village of Köfels - a small mountain hamlet (50 inhabitants) at 1400 m altitude and about 3 km above Ötztal's federal road - promises absolute relaxation, tranquility, endless sunshine and fresh air at the heart of the mountains. The bracing Alpine climate not only offers perfect conditions for allergy sufferers, there are also marvelous hiking trails to pasturelands and mountain huts or high Alpine peak tours starting on your doorstep.
The large garden with sunbathing area, barbecue site and outdoor dining area plus a traditional inn in the immediate vicinity add to memorable stay at the cozy and rustic-style apartments.
In winter a free skibus shuttle takes you down to the valley in the morning, and further on to the ski areas of Sölden, Obergurgl or Hochoetz (family ski area).

Arrival information
Sustainable travel tip: Via daily international direct train connections to Ötztal-Bahnhof, from there directly by bus every half hour to the stop Umhausen Abzw. Köfels (about 3 km away from Köfels). All information on travel options: www.oetztal.com/nachhaltige-anreise
Arrival by car: Along the federal road towards Längenfeld. About 3 km after passing through Umhausen, turn right at the KÖFELS junction and follow the mountain road to Köfels (about 2.5 km). In Köfels, our house is located on the right side opposite the inn.
IN WINTER, snow chains must be carried at all times for the road to Köfels!
