Wettersee | Erlanger Hut incl. hut taxi
Description
This impressive hike takes you deep into the alpine high mountain landscape of the Ötztal Alps. We reach the Gehsteigalm, the starting point of our tour, by taxi from the meeting point. From here, the path steadily ascends through the stunning mountain scenery of the Geigenkamm to the Erlanger Hut. Above the hut lies the Wettersee – a clear mountain lake, nestled between rocky peaks and alpine meadows. The high alpine surroundings provide spectacular views of the surrounding peaks of the Ötztal Alps. After a well-deserved rest at the Erlanger Hut, the descent leads down to the idyllic Leierstalalm; from there, we take a taxi back to the valley.
