Oetztal Kayak Festival

From September 17 – 21, 2025, the second edition of the Ötztal Kayak Festival will take place in Oetz.
In addition to the Oetz Kayak Cross on the slalom course (WW III – WW IV), there will be gear testing opportunities, workshops, parties, and a major media contest.
The festival grounds are located around the Kayak Base Oetz at the put-in of the Lower Ötztaler Ache. During the entire event, the parking area there will be used as an exhibition space where you can check out and test gear from our partner companies on site.

Around the base, there will be a chill-out zone with seating and music. This is the place to hang out, get information about the program, meet others, and make plans together.

During the event, the paid parking lot of the Hochoetz cable cars will be available. From there you can reach the Wellerbrücke slalom and race course most quickly.
