Description

The OETZ TROPHY is one of the toughest kayak races in the world. On the Ötztaler Ache — Class V whitewater, the best paddlers in the world compete head to head. No open start: Only the 40 fastest men and 15 fastest women from the qualifying rounds are allowed to participate in the race.

The race course takes place over the most challenging sections of the Ötztaler Ache. Class V whitewater with technical passages, powerful eddies, and fast currents. The course demands experience, technique, and the willingness to push one's limits. Only those who know and respect the river have a chance here.
