Rettenbachglacier (Sölden)
On 10. April 2026 at 19:30

Description

The glacier spectacle HANNIBAL shows the history of Carthage amidst the mighty mountains of Tirol. In collaboration with Sölden and Red Bull, the Lawine Torrèn artistic network is staging Hannibal's historic crossing of the Alps with snow groomers, airplanes, dancers, helicopters and extreme athletes as a both real and tangible performance at 3000 meters above sea level in the present.
Around 75,000 spectators have gathered since 2001 to follow the Carthaginian strategist live and with all their senses. A show unlike anything else, possibly the greatest contemporary performance in the world.
