Baroque in the "Oberland"

Telling baroque stories, making baroque imagery comprehensible, and looking closer: Who is actually telling whom here? To explore these questions, Andreas Rudigier, art historian and director of the Tiroler Landesmuseen, invites you to the Turmmuseum on March 5th.
As part of a tour through the exhibition "Gems of Baroque in the Ötztal and the Tyrolean Oberland," Andreas Rudigier, who has researched and published on the baroque art of the Tyrolean Oberland, will present interesting connections between art, artistry, and society – and draws connections to the present day. The tour offers a series of memorable stories about the art history of the 17th and 18th centuries and requires no prior knowledge.
