Public transit
Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal train station. The final stop or exit point is ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, you can travel conveniently and quickly with public transport or local taxi companies throughout the valley to your desired destination. Getting there
The car journey to the ÖTZTAL. Located in Tyrol, the Ötztal branches off to the south as the longest side valley of the Eastern Alps. Traveling by car leads vacationers via the Inn Valley to the valley entrance and further along the Ötztal. In addition to the toll highway, country roads can also be used. Parking
The following parking options are available:
Acherkogelbahn parking lot (paid)
Rafting entry point parking lot (at the end of Oetz on the right side) (paid)
Oetz town center parking lot (paid)
Overnight parking during multi-day tours: Oetz town center parking lot, the ticket is available at the Oetz tourist information office.
When taking the Ochsengarten cable car, free parking is available in Ochsengarten - camping prohibited
Equipment
Appropriate equipment such as breathable and weather-appropriate outdoor clothing, wind, rain, snow and sun protection, hat and gloves, is required for all hikes and tours. Carrying a first aid kit, a mobile phone and possibly a tour map, as well as sufficient provisions for tours without the possibility of stopping, is necessary.
