Start your hike at Freizeit Arena Sölden and follow the community road to the right toward Hotel Sunny.

There, turn right onto the forest road. This leads you above the meadows through the forest to Kaisers.

From Kaisers you have two options: either return the same way, or take the paved path along the Ötztaler Ache, which leads back to Freizeit Arena Sölden via Schmiedhof and Rechenau.

Author's tip

If you slightly modify the route and do not walk through the forest (but stay on the paved path), this circular route is stroller-friendly.

The playground "Waldele" is also located on the way.

Start your hike at Freizeit Arena Sölden and follow the community road to the right into Waldele and Rechenau streets up to Hotel Sunny.

There, turn right onto the forest road. This leads you above the meadows through the forest to Kaisers.

From Kaisers, you have two options: either take the same way back, or choose the paved path along the Ötztaler Ache, which leads you back to Freizeit Arena Sölden via Schmiedhof and Rechenau.

Public transit

Travel comfortably and safely by train to the ÖTZTAL station. The final stop or exit point is the ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, you can conveniently and quickly travel by public transport or local taxi companies through the entire valley to your desired destination.

Getting there

Driving into the ÖTZTAL. Located in Tyrol, the ÖTZTAL branches off southward as the longest side valley of the Eastern Alps. Traveling by car leads visitors over the Inn valley to the valley entrance and further along the Ötztal. Besides the toll motorway, country roads can also be used.
