From the Brandenburger Haus first in a southwesterly direction and later south to the Vernaglwand (point: 3,065 m). Down on a partly secured path to the Langtaufernferner. Across this crevasse-rich glacier to the Weißkugeljoch and from here steeply over the rocky ridge directly to the summit. However, the ascent via the magnificent north ridge (sometimes difficult due to icing) is more beautiful. Easiest descent: via the Hintereisjoch and the Hintereisferner directly to the Hochjoch Hospiz in about 4 hours.
