From Vent take the double chairlift to the mountain station. From there, hike about 30 minutes towards Breslauer Hut. After about half an hour above the mountain station of the drag lift, turn right following the signpost. Climb to the summit over steep and rocky terrain. Descend over the summit to the small notch and down a secured path to the tongue of the Rofenkarferner, to the small glacier lake. From there, take a narrow, marked mountain trail to the right to Breslauer Hut. Continue over the Seufertweg to Vernagthütte. Overnight stay. From Vernagthütte first descend, then ascend moderately in switchbacks to the summit of Mittlere Guslarspitze. The descent to Hochjoch Hospice leads over scree and moderately downhill terrain. Overnight stay. From Hochjoch Hospice a steep path leads down to the iron bridge. From there, a few switchbacks lead up and gently ascend above the Hochjochferner to Schöne Aussicht and from there descend to Vent.
