From Vent take the double chairlift to the mountain station. From there, hike about 30 minutes towards Breslauer Hut. After about half an hour above the mountain station of the drag lift, turn right following the signpost. Climb to the summit over steep and rocky terrain. Descend over the summit to the small notch and down a secured path to the tongue of the Rofenkarferner, to the small glacier lake. From there, take a narrow, marked mountain trail to the right to Breslauer Hut. Continue over the Seufertweg to Vernagthütte. Overnight stay. From Vernagthütte first descend, then ascend moderately in switchbacks to the summit of Mittlere Guslarspitze. The descent to Hochjoch Hospice leads over scree and moderately downhill terrain. Overnight stay. From Hochjoch Hospice a steep path leads down to the iron bridge. From there, a few switchbacks lead up and gently ascend above the Hochjochferner to Schöne Aussicht and from there descend to Vent.

Vent-Wilder Mann-Breslauer Hut-Vernagthütte-Mittlere Guslarspitze-Hochjoch Hospice-Beautiful View-Vent

From Vent take the double chairlift to the Stablein mountain station. From there, hike about 30 minutes towards Breslauer Hut, then turn right. After about half an hour above the mountain station of the drag lift, turn right following the signpost. To reach the summit, climb over steep and rocky terrain. From there you have a magnificent view of the Wildspitze opposite, the beautiful Rofenkar Glacier, the Venter Mountains, as well as the Ortler Group. Descend over the summit to the small notch and down a secured path to the tongue of the Rofenkarferner, to the small glacier lake. From there, take a narrow, marked mountain trail to the right to Breslauer Hut. Continue along the Seufertweg without significant incline into the Vernagtbach valley. From there ascent to Vernagthütte. Overnight stay. From Vernagthütte first descend, then ascend moderately in switchbacks, finally over the ridge to the summit of the Mittlere Guslarspitze. The descent to Hochjoch Hospice leads over scree and then over moderately downhill terrain. Overnight stay. From Hochjoch Hospice a steep path leads down to the iron bridge crossing the Hintereisbach. From there, a few switchbacks lead up and gently ascend above the Hochjochferner to the Schöne Aussicht shelter, then descend back to Vent by the same way.

Public transit

Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal train station. The final stop or exit point is the ÖTZTAL station. From there, travel conveniently and quickly by public transport or local taxi companies through the entire valley to your desired destination! Parking

In the mountain village of Vent, the following parking options are available.

- In summer in front of the village (parking meter, coins or EC card only) and at the valley station of the chairlift (at the cash desk of the cable cars)

- In winter only at the valley station of the chairlift. Cost: € 6.00 per day/car
