The Tour
TUMPEN->Lehn-Platzl->Maria Schnee Chapel->UMHAUSEN
The route starts at the car park of the primary school in Tumpen. There you first cross the federal road and bridge, then walk right through the district of Ried and straight ahead along the snowy field path to the district of Lehn-Platzl. Passing the beautiful "Maria Schnee" chapel, you cross a small wooded area and follow the signposting to Umhausen.

Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal station. The terminus or exit point is ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, you travel conveniently and quickly with public transport or local taxi services through the entire valley to your desired destination! Getting there
Car travel to the ÖTZTAL. Located in Tyrol, the Ötztal branches off to the south as the longest side valley of the Eastern Alps. The journey by car takes vacationers through the Inn valley to the valley entrance and further along the Ötztal. In addition to the toll motorway, country roads can also be used. Your drive can be quickly and conveniently planned with the route planner.

Appropriate equipment such as breathable and weather-appropriate outdoor clothing, wind, rain, snow and sun protection, hat and gloves, is required for all hikes and routes.
