Description

LÄNGENFELD -> Cross-country skiing bridge -> Astlehn -> LÄNGENFELD

Map & elevation profile

LÄNGENFELD -> Cross-country skiing bridge -> Astlehn -> LÄNGENFELD

Water splashing, otherwise pure peace. This can be fully enjoyed on this route. The bridge spanning the Ötztaler Ache near the campsite is the starting point. Immediately you follow the Ache upstream to Astlehn. Through the trees, you can repeatedly catch glimpses of the Ötztal mountains and the village. Upon reaching Astlehn, another bridge is crossed. The return route proceeds on the opposite river side. Along the way, you can certainly watch one or another cross-country skier practicing the Nordic sport. In the distance, the thermal spa Aqua Dome is visible, which means the starting point is almost reached.

Author's tip

An ideal route before enjoying the wonderfully warm water at the Aqua Dome.
