Description

The red Schteckler Trail is the more demanding alternative to the BROATE LINE at the end of TEÄRE & OHN LINE and the Nene Trail

Map & elevation profile

The red Schteckler Trail is the more demanding alternative to the BROATE LINE at the end of TEÄRE & OHN LINE and the Nene Trail

The rooty Schteckler Trail is the final natural trail ending of three routes in the BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN and ends after about 1 km at the Pumptrack ROLLIN right at the Gaislachkoglbahn. It starts after a short ride on the BROATE LINE directly after the underpass on the left side. It leads repeatedly from the line into the terrain, whereby the last left turn just behind the tables is often overlooked – but it offers fine features with a stone plate, a rock garden, and a drop.

Author's tip

Right at the end, you can wash your bike and get some food (or have it served) at the Pumptrack ROLLIN. It is the meeting point of the BIKE REPUBLIKANER.

Safety guidelines

The Schteckler Trail is a natural trail in the red difficulty level: so you should bring good riding technique for the root and stone sections.

At the BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN, it’s about having fun together in bike sports - regardless of your riding level. Be considerate of each other and support one another. Also behave with equal respect towards all other people on the mountain and in the valley - and towards nature.

–> Stay on the paved and signposted paths. Do not ride over open meadows!

–> Avoid locking the rear wheel to help maintain the trails.

–> Be considerate of animals and close the pasture gates. Cows can always be on the trails and lines. Ride cautiously and keep your distance!

Single trail difficulty

Obstacles such as large rocks and roots. Soil is often loose. Steps are expected. Wider hairpin turns, gradient up to 70%. Requires some advanced riding skills.
