Map & elevation profile

The red Kaiser Trail is not accessible with lift assistance and is accordingly lonely, fine, and flowing from Höfle (near Kaisers) to Brand.

The Kaiser is a pleasure trail that runs on fine forest soil away from the busy traffic of the BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN. For the start, you arrive not by lift aids but by pedaling (about 120 meters of altitude) via the Kaiserwald Route or the route Enduro Aschbach D. The flowing natural trail gains a bit of excitement through short root sections and partly steep terrain. When it gets wet,

the ground often remains moist and slippery for a long time. After about 500 meters, the Kaiser then flows into the Ötztal bike path shortly before Aschbach.

You reach the start via the asphalted path leading through the village of Kaiser to the chapel, which finally transitions into a forest road. At the end of this road, you will find a small bridge where the trail starts.

Please watch out for hikers!

Safety guidelines

The Kaiser Trail is flowing to ride but has some root sections and steep terrain.

In the BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN, it's all about the shared fun of bike sports – no matter your riding level. Look out for each other and support each other. And behave just as respectfully to all other people on the mountain and in the valley – and to nature.

–> Stay on the paved and signposted paths. Do not ride across open meadows!

–> Avoid blocking the rear wheel and help to preserve the paths.

–> Consider animals & close the pasture gates. There can always be cows on the trails and lines. Ride carefully and keep a distance!

–> Please note: Hikers are also on the natural trails of BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN. Ride carefully, stop, give way thoughtfully, and greet politely.

Single trail difficulty

Obstacles such as large rocks and roots. Soil is often loose. Steps are expected. Wider hairpin turns, gradient up to 70%. Requires some advanced riding skills.
