Jägers Notweg routePhoto: Ötztal
On the quiet (lift-free) side of the BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN awaits one of the most demanding trails with the black Jägers Notweg.
Tight hairpin bends, rocky sections, partly wet ground – whoever can ride down the Jägers Notweg without putting a foot down can really celebrate themselves. The natural trail leads on the quiet side of Sölden from Brunnenberg to the Windach Ache and over an uphill (or pushing section for about 10 minutes) to the Windachtal access road. At the starting point, you can choose a more relaxed entry by taking the 1 km long Windach Trail.
You can reach the starting point, for example, via the route to the Brunnenbergalm. The trail is also part of the route Enduro Quiet Side C.
Please watch out for hikers!

Lochle AlmSafety information
The Jägers Notweg is a black trail and therefore technically extremely demanding. Please also note that there is less "traffic" on the quiet side. You should not ride the trail alone, as it may be a long time before help arrives.
At the BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN, it is all about shared fun in bike sports – regardless of your riding level. Be considerate of each other and support one another. And behave just as respectfully towards all other people on the mountain and in the valley – and towards nature.
–> Stay on the paved and signposted paths. Do not ride over open meadows!
–> Avoid blocking the rear wheel and help preserve the trails.
–> Be considerate of animals & close pasture gates. There can always be cows on the trails and lines. Ride carefully and keep your distance!
–> Please note: Hikers are also on the natural trails of BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN. Ride cautiously, stop, give way considerately, and greet politely.
