Description

The 10 km long route leads on the quiet side of the BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN into the Windach valley and back to the valley via the red, technically demanding Kleble Alm Trail.

Map & elevation profile

The 10 km long route leads on the quiet side of the BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN into the Windach valley and back to the valley via the red, technically demanding Kleble Alm Trail.

The starting point of the enduro route is the Freizeit Arena in the center of Sölden. From there, it first goes uphill on asphalt through the district of Granbichl. The road then turns into a forest trail, and you follow the signs for 6022 Route Windach to the 1 km long Lochle Alm Trail, which leads back out of the Windach valley. The natural trail is quite flowy but includes short, steep climbs and rocky sections. At the end of the trail, you reach the highest point of the route and at the same time the entrance to the Kleble Alm Trails. It is a bit more demanding with wet, tricky spots and rocky, steep passages. The trail crosses the forest trail repeatedly if you want to bypass sections.

Please watch out for hikers!

Author's tip

The route involves quite some elevation gain – therefore a stop at the Kleble or the Stallwies Alm is well deserved!

Safety guidelines

The Kleble Alm Trail is rough and demanding. It requires some technical skill but can also be bypassed.

At the BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN, it is all about enjoying bike sports together – no matter what riding level you have. Be considerate of each other and support each other. Also, behave just as respectfully towards all other people on the mountain and in the valley – and the nature.

–> Stay on the paved and signposted paths. Do not ride over open meadows!

–> Avoid blocking the rear wheel and thus help preserve the paths.

–> Be considerate of animals & close the pasture gates. There may always be cows on the trails and lines. Ride cautiously and keep distance!

–> Please note: Hikers also use the natural trails of BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN. Ride carefully, stop, yield considerately and greet politely.

Single trail difficulty

Obstacles such as large rocks and roots. Soil is often loose. Steps are expected. Wider hairpin turns, gradient up to 70%. Requires some advanced riding skills.
