Art trail Barteb'ne
outdooractive.state.tour.long_description
The art trail on Barteb'ne, an open-air gallery at 1900 meters above sea level, is nestled in a high alpine landscape. The Barteb'ne, a flat piece of valley between Vent and the Rofenh${ouml}$fen, was already a special place thousands of years ago – a place to arrive, a place to rest. Its name comes from the "Bart," a term for the shaggy grass growing here.

Directions
Along the path, stones of various shapes, colors, and sizes are scattered on both sides. Some of these "roadside bandits" were selected for the art. During an international sculpture symposium called ARTeVENT, artists from all over the world created sculptures here over several years. Some are imposing and visible from afar, others inconspicuous placed on small hills or only recognizable at second glance. The intention was to present art in the mountaineering village of Vent.
